This page will help you understand the 26 postures of the Bikram Yoga series–how to do them and some of their health benefits. In addition to attending our beginners workshop and posture clinics, this page can be a reference tool to help you deepen your practice.

Bikram’s Beginning Yoga Class of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises is practiced in a heated, ventilated room. Comprised of standing and floor postures, the series stretches and strengthens specific muscles, ligaments, and joints sequentially so that each posture prepares your body for the next one.
